Selection Criteria

• 1. High quality academic results in a field of study relevant to the work of ARPANSA.
• 2. Ability to apply this to research, policy matters or public health issues.
• 3. Clear, concise written and oral communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively the results of research and analysis.
• 4. Sound interpersonal skills including the ability to network, liaise and contribute effectively in a team environment.
• 5. A positive attitude and approach to work, including initiative and drive and the motivation to progress issues through to completion.
• 6. Good administrative skills, including the ability to plan, manage tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• 7. A knowledge of and commitment to the principles and practices of workplace diversity, workplace participation, occupational health and safety as well as client services and an ability to apply them to work practices.
