What ARPANSA Expects of Graduates
We expect you to:
- be committed to the objectives and strategic directions of ARPANSA;
- approach your work with curiosity, innovation and enthusiasm;
- consider your involvement in the GRP as a first step in your career and to treat each work placement as learning opportunities;
- take personal responsibility for the quality of your own learning, development and career;
- work within the ethical standards of the APS, particularly in relation to the APS Values and Code of Conduct and acceptable professional standards;
- communicate appropriately with your colleagues, customers, stakeholders and the community;
- attend and participate in training and other events, be aware of the employment framework in which you work, and satisfactorily attend and perform on the job.
What Graduates can expect from ARPANSA
You will be offered different work placements providing you with the opportunity to experience a variety of jobs and work environments within ARPANSA. You will attend training courses and will gain skills and experience in the scientific, regulatory and engineering fields. On successful completion of the program you will be offered a secure position with one of the branches of the organisation.
