Notification of Application for Facility Licence under the ARPANS Act 1998
The CEO of the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency intends to make a decision under section 32 of the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety (ARPANS) Act 1998 regarding the following application for a facility licence.
Application No. A0251 by the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation to operate a prescribed radiation facility, known as the Camperdown Facility, at Grose Street, Camperdown, Sydney NSW 2050. The Camperdown Facility has an 18 MeV cyclotron and hot cells for the production of radioisotopes that will be used to produce radiopharmaceuticals for research and development.
This notice will appear under the Public Notice Section in The Government Gazette and The Australian on Wednesday 6 July 2011.
