Sun Protective Clothing

An extensive range of swimwear in chlorine resistant fabric is available from infant size 00 through to adults 4XL. This range includes two-piece outfits, one-piece suits and separates, in both long and short sleeves. Polo shirts in 100% cotton and spray jackets in Micromesh and taslon are also available. All garments are rated at UPF 50+ for maximum protection.

Hats
Hats in all sizes and colours, in all protective styles to suit the latest fashion looks, the fisherman, the outdoor worker, the sailor, the gardener as well as for everyday use are available in the Shop. A variety of school hats can also be selected.

Sunglasses

Close fitting contour styles which reduce and UVR entering the eye from the side of the face form the basis of our comprehensive range of sunglasses. All sunglasses conform to the Australian Standard AS1067 and the range includes styles suitable for newborns, children, teens, adults and fitovers designed to go over prescription glasses.

Sunscreens

The Cancer Council Australia SPF 30+ sunscreen has been developed especially for the harsh Australian climate. TCCA sunscreen is broad spectrum, two hour water resistant and PABA free. The range includes formulas containing insect repellent, moisturiser and one designed for sensitive skin. TCCA also produces a range of cosmetics which includes foundation (SPF 15), facial and body lotions (SPF 15) and lipsticks (SPF 30+).

Other Products

The SunSmart Shop carries an extensive range of sun-protective gloves, driver's sleeves, umbrellas, helmet and hard hat covers, beach shelters and pram covers.


All profit from the sale of all items goes directly to the Queensland Cancer Fund to fund research, education and patient services.
