List your company in the UV Resource Guide

The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA), formerly the Australian Radiation Laboratory, provides information and advice on all health related issues of radiation. Each year ARPANSA receives many enquiries from consumers about sun protective products and where to purchase them. To address these questions, ARPANSA publishes the Resource Guide for UV Protective Products, an Internet site that lists a range of companies that provide products and services related to sun protection. The Resource Guide is located on the Internet at
http://www.arpansa.gov.au/uvrg/main.htm. The Resource Guide pages are visited several thousand times each month. Periodically the information from the Resource Guide web site is also published as a book, which is distributed free of charge to consumers seeking sun protective products and services.

If your company provides products and services related to sun protection your contact details can be listed on the Resource Guide web site by printing and completing the application form and returning it to ARPANSA with a cheque to cover preparation and maintenance costs. This fee entitles your company to a one page listing for twelve months on the ARPANSA Resource Guide Internet web site. There is no additional charge if your company is listed in the Resource Guide book.

Your listing will consist of a single web page, which is part of the Resource Guide web site. Consumers can locate your page within the site using indexes of company names and product types. If you include your company web site address on the application form, the Resource Guide web page will have a link back to your own web site so potential clients can obtain more detailed information about your products or services. Similarly, if you include your e-mail address, potential clients viewing the Resource Guide web page will be able to contact you by e-mail.

The layout of the Resource Guide web pages and the book is determined by ARPANSA. Each page includes space for company logos, trademarks or product pictures as well as written information about your products, company and contact details. You may submit your product information and graphics in electronic format on disk or by e-mail. You will still need to post the signed application form to ARPANSA. Note that the book has more space restrictions than the web page and information in the book version may need to be condensed in some cases.

The fees to cover preparation and maintenance costs of the web site listing are:

New listing: A$275.00 (including GST) A$250.00 (excluding GST)
Renewal of an existing listing: A$170.00 (including GST) A$154.55 (excluding GST)

Non-Australian companies do not pay Australian GST (Goods and Services Tax). Payment can be made in Australian dollars, either by bank cheque made out to "ARPANSA" or by electronic funds transfer (EFT). Companies paying by EFT should contact the ARPANSA accounts department on (+61 3) 9433 2250 for details. Note that overseas EFT payments attract an additional bank fee of A$20 per transaction.

Return the completed application form and payment to ARPANSA addressed to:
