Overview of the Resource Guide
This document contains information about the hazards of ultraviolet radiation and listings of products that offer protection. The main sections are:

• Ultraviolet Radiation Reference - This contains information about personal protection from ultraviolet radiation (UVR). Also information related to testing and labelling of UVR protective products, and Australian Standards related to UVR protection. A marker such as [4] in the text of this section means that there is a related reference in the References section.

• Product Resource - This contains product information provided by the advertisers. Companies are listed in alphabetical order.

• Product Indexes – This lists advertisers by categories such as Sun Protective Textiles, Sun Protective Clothing, Sunglasses, Sunscreens, Shade Structures and Services. Products are also classified into specific types such as swimwear, hats, sunglasses and tents. Due to the diversity of products, some advertisers may appear in several categories.

To locate a specific type of product, refer to the Product Indexes. These list the categories of products advertised in the guide. In each index there is an alphabetical list of companies who provide that type of product or service. Select the company name to display the product information page.
