Stakeholder feedback - National uniformity issues

Differences in radiation legislation and regulatory policy can be problematic for businesses operating in more than one jurisdiction. Use this webform to advise the CEO of ARPANSA about difficulties encountered with licensing, registration, shielding, disposals, transport, or other mutual recognition issue when dealing with different radiation regulators. Information will be used to promote uniformity and reduce regulatory burden.

All Australian radiation regulatory jurisdictions have agreed to the use of this form for the reporting of national uniformity issues.

Indicate the industry in which you are involved
Indicate the national uniformity or mutual recognition issue/s where difficulties have been encountered
Indicate the jurisdiction/s in which difficulties are, or have been, encountered
Provide further information for each issue selected, including the state or territory involved. Please give an indication of the time taken to obtain the licence/registration/permit/approval sought; details of any inspection requirements; any other unreasonable requirements or unnecessary delays; and an indication of direct and indirect costs associated with these issues.
