Annual and Quarterly Reports and the Portfolio Budget Statements are formal accountability mechanisms between Government and the Agency and from the Agency through Government to the Parliament.
The Portfolio Budget Statement for ARPANSA sets out performance targets for Agency outputs and contributions to outcomes when funds are appropriated.
The financial year 2009-10 Portfolio Budget Statements for ARPANSA (PDF 268kb | RTF 229kb) are included in the PBS for the Health and Ageing portfolio, which can be found at http://www.health.gov.au/budget2009

Annual and Quarterly Reports report on achievement and are produced in accordance with Sections 59 and 60 of the ARPANS Act 1998.
The Corporate Plan functions to inform ARPANSA’s annual planning at corporate and branch level. It supports input to the Portfolio Budget Statements.
