Testing materials for sun protection

If you are a business looking for a NATA-accredited laboratory to test clothing materials and shade fabrics for protection against UV from the sun, then we can help. We also test sunglasses, films and transparent materials.

From 2023 to 2024, ARPANSA provided more than 937 thousand clothing swing tags and 6 thousand shade cloth swing tags.

Step 2. Send ARPANSA sample material or product to test.

Step 3. Apply for a licence and purchase swing tags if applicable, to promote your sun protection rating.
