
Australia contributes to key UN radiation exposure reports
Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency experts contributed to two reports on radiation exposure and health effects that were approved by the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation.

ARPANSA launches radiation training for workers
ARPANSA has developed free Occupational Radiation Exposure (ORE) training for all people working in medical facilities that use ionising radiation. This includes hospitals and clinics that use X-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans or nuclear medicine.
Radiation Protection Series C-5
This Code for Radiation Protection in Medical Exposure (2019) (RPS C-5) sets out the requirements in Australia for the protection of patients, their carers and comforters, and volunteers in biomedical research projects, in relation to their exposure to ionising radiation.
