Purpose

We welcome respectful and constructive engagement on our social media channels. We encourage users to share views, questions and feedback related to our work in radiation protection and nuclear safety.

Our channels are monitored by staff between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (AEST), Monday to Friday. We aim to respond to general enquiries within 48 hours, or the next working day on weekends or public holidays.

If you have a technical or scientific question, please allow up to 4 working days for a response. Alternatively, you can contact our Talk to a Scientist service on 1800 022 333, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm (AEST), excluding public holidays.

These Terms of Use apply to all users interacting with the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) via its official social media channels, which includes Facebook, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn. These are to be applied in conjunction with the terms and conditions imposed by the platforms themselves.
