ACDS feedback and review

If you wish to query any technical or quality aspects of the ACDS service, your facility’s representative is encouraged in the first instance, to discuss any issues with the ACDS Director or with the Chief Medical Radiation Scientist (Melbourne office) to clarify the situation and potentially reach a resolution.

Request a review of an ACDS audit outcome
You can request a further audit review which will be conducted by the Clinical Advisory Group (CAG), who will asses the scientific information and potential clinical implications of the audit report.
The CAG provides independent guidance and technical and clinical advice to the ACDS. Members of this advisory group are experts in their field and have been nominated by the professional bodies which they represent.
Dispute a review response by CAG
If you are unhappy with the response from CAG to a previous audit review request (see above), you can submit your feedback to ARPANSA’s Quality team for investigation.
Once a complaint is received, ARPANSA will issue a reference number for tracking all correspondence relevant to the complaint and will be in touch to review your concerns. This process is managed independently from the ACDS.

If your facility has been audited by ACDS and you would like to provide feedback on the quality of our service, you can submit your comments to ARPANSA’s Quality team.
